Sandrine Holt is the child of Sandrine Ho, who was born in London on 19 November 1972. She was born in London, to an Chinese mother and French father. When she was just five and her family left Chinese to Canada. She started out as Paris catwalk model, but later decided to make a profession of acting. Her film debut was as Annuka In Black Robe (1991). The role earned her the Genie Award, the Canadian Oscar. Rapa Nui Rise in Paradise The Legend of Pocahontas & Dance with the Murderer, as well as guest appearances in Poltergeist The Uncanny Force and Outer Limits The Unknown Dimension were the next. In John Woo s The Thief she was a key part of the series for 22 episodes. The movie Starship Troopers 2 Hero of the Federation followed in 2004 which is only available on DVDVHS along with Resident Evil Apocalypse. In 2006 she was able to be offered a more prominent character in 24 - Twenty Four and Runaway. In the following years, she had guest roles on shows and in smaller roles on films Holt took on a leading character on Hostages in 2013 and a supporting role in the Netflix series House of Cards. Holt played Julie Han, in the US remake The Returned (2015) and she was cast in the role of Bethany Exner.
